Prospective Postdoctoral Researcher

  Our group seeks 2-3 postdoctoral research scientists in the areas of convective and long-range dynamic transport of water vapor and other chemical tracers, Microwave remote sensing, climate dynamics and diagnostics.  The position begins in Fall 2008 and last until they are filled.  These appointments are initially for one-year period and renewable up to three years subject to the job performance and fund availability.
  
  
• Requirements
  
  Applicants should have Ph.D. in atmospheric or earth sciences.  Good background in atmospheric and climate dynamics, especially for the tropics, troposphere convection and cloud processes, microwave remote sensing of the atmosphere or/and land surface, atmospheric hydrological cycle will be considered with priority.  Adequate skills in statistical analysis, modeling, computation and graphic and record of publications are needed for these positions.
